Windsor Service Alliance

Our Programs

Food Pantry. We now have served over 10,000 Families and Seniors since our inception. On a weekly basis we have between 80-100 seniors and families coming to our doors on Friday. Seniors arrive from 2 to 2:30pm followed by Families from 2:30 to 4:00pm. We ask if it is your first time, please come after 3:00pm. Please bring a photo ID and Proof of Residency when you come.

The Volunteers pack bags on Friday morning between 10:00 and 11:30 and we hand them out from 2:00 to 4:00pm.

Five days a week we have Drivers who pick up our food at Raley’s and Safeway. Also, we buy food from the Redwood Empire Food Bank and the truck delivers the produce to WSA twice a month. Food For Families at Raley’s is also an account we order out of.

WSA Community Garden Program. We have officially started a new Community Garden Program and our main goal is that it will add fresh produce to our food distribution program. It will be an organically grown garden comprised of 3 garden boxes that are 4' X 12' in size and situated within the Town Green Community Garden. We will need volunteers to help grow vegetables in the garden, and then harvest the vegetables to distribute at the WSA Food Pantry. Anyone interested in volunteering at the garden can e-mail Gina Osbeck at glosbeck@comcast.net. For information or to leave a message, call Tanya at WSA: 707-838-6947, or e-mail her at wsacgp@sonic.net. If you are interested in learning more about our program and lending a helping hand, please take a moment to fill out our printable online WSACGP Volunteer Application. (Click soon to download a WSACGP Volunteer Application). We will be in touch with you to discuss orientation times.
